The Rook Lane Wedding Fair – 24th March 2013

In one month’s time, Rook Lane Arts will host it’s very first Wedding Fair.  Our aim is to showcase a selection of Frome’s wide array of wedding suppliers, offering visitors a unique wedding fair experience.

As we know, Frome is a great place to get married.  The town is saturated with photo opportunities along it’s cobbled streets and historic architecture.  Couples can also take their pick from a wealth of country houses, rustic inns and quaint villages halls, all of which come with cheery, well-connected staff who can point you in the right direction for your perfect flowers, food and decor.

The Rook Lane Wedding Fair aims to showcase all of our local talent, and hopefully drum up some interest from out of town.  The event is absolutely free to attend, with the first entrants receiving goody bags and bubbly.  We’ll have some of Frome’s tried and tested wedding suppliers, as well as others from further afield.

The Rook Lane Wedding Fair will take place at Rook Lane Chapel on 24th March 2013, opening at 11am and closing at 3pm. 

Refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Going Bramble and Wild!

A lovely couple who are getting married at Rook Lane Chapel next April just popped in to have a chat. As we stood in the garden, discussing their plans, the sun broke through the clouds and shone down on the luscious green lawn.

The bride-to-be kept giggling excitedly as she talked about all the plans they had for the ceremony and the big picnic that they will have in the park afterwards.

She now needs to decide on music, flowers, sparkling wines etc. I suggested she use Bramble and Wild, who are based at the top of Catherine Hill.
